Spurs transfer news: Leeds United to receive massive windfall should Danny Rose be sold
Danny Rose has been linked with a move away from Tottenham (h/t Sun), and the Englishman’s departure could see Leeds United receive a sizeable amount.
The left-back joined Spurs from Leeds for £1m (h/t Leeds Live) in 2007 and could be sold for £30m (h/t Leeds Live).
This would be great news for Leeds as the Championship club will receive “10 per cent of any profit on top of the £1m” that he was bought for, according to the report.
The English left-back became our first-choice in the second half of the previous campaign, however, the Sun claims that Mauricio Pochettino is open to replacing Rose.
The left-back hasn’t always been consistent in the past two years, but still gave it his all for the club.
Pochettino targeting a younger star
The Sun claims that Pochettino wants to sign Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham as a long-term replacement for Rose.
The 19-year-old was relegated from the Premier League after just one season with the Cottagers and Spurs could pay £35million for the talented youngster.
Getting £30m for Rose would be an excellent deal given that he turns 29 soon.

Signing Sessegnon for just a few million more will be great as we would end up with a younger player with a lot of potential.
