Spurs transfer news: Maurizio Sarri wants Kieran Trippier at Juventus
The Times (h/t Sun) claims that Kieran Trippier is a target for Serie A champions Juventus.
The report claims that Juve see Trippier as a replacement for Manchester City-linked Joao Cancelo.
The English right-back did not have a great season for Tottenham despite a fantastic World Cup with the Three Lions.
The 28-year-old made several mistakes but was our first-choice right-back under Mauricio Pochettino.
Trippier could be joined at Juventus by a former Premier League manager, Maurizio Sarri. The report claims that the Chelsea manager will replace Max Allegri at the Old Lady despite leading the Blues to Europa League glory.
The former Napoli manager helped the Blues finish third in the league, but the report claims that Sarri will be unveiled as the new boss soon.
Napoli were interested in Trippier (h/t Sun), however, joining Juve would be a bigger move for Trippier.
A good move for the right price
Tottenham need to upgrade several positions in the team and could do with a new right-back.
Serge Aurier has failed to impress regularly since his move from PSG while Kyle Walker-Peters doesn’t feel like the finished product yet.
Selling Trippier should only be done if we have a quality replacement in mind, and we need to get a good deal from Juve too.

The report claims that the Englishman could be worth £30million and that would be a great deal for Spurs.
