Spurs transfer news: Juventus willing to spend £60million on Spurs target Ndombele
The Daily Star reports that Maurizio Sarri will be named as the new Juventus manager in the next 48 hours after agreeing on an exit from Chelsea.
The Italian led the Blues to the Europa League but is set to be the new Juve manager after Max Allegri’s exit.
The report claims that Sarri will “intensify” Juventus’ battle with Tottenham over Tanguy Ndombele.
The Lyon midfielder has been incredible over the past two seasons, and a scrap could be on between Juve and Spurs, according to the report.
Juve to spend big on Ndombele
The report adds that Ndombele is valued at £70million, however, Juventus are willing to spend up to £60m on the 22-year-old.
This would be a problem for Mauricio Pochettino as he sees the Frenchman as a top target in the summer, according to the report.
Tottenham were looking to wrap up the signing of Ndombele for £50m, which would be their record transfer fee (h/t Daily Star).
The report claims that Ndombele favours a switch to England, and it is to be seen if Daniel Levy is willing to match Juventus’ fee for the French midfielder.
