Spurs transfer news: Ndombele hails Tottenham ahead of possible transfer in summer
Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele confirmed his interest in Tottenham and claimed the club is one of the best in the world.
The Evening Standard reports that the 22-year-old is one of Mauricio Pochettino’s key targets for the summer window and Spurs have opened talks for the French midfielder.
The report adds that Spurs are confident of finalising a deal for the 22-year-old, and Ndombele seems happy being linked with the club.
Speaking to Telefoot (h/t Evening Standard), the 22-year-old also spoke about our Champions League finals run:
“Tottenham are a great team, a big club.
“They finished fourth in their league and reached the Champions League final.
“They are a big club and what player would not be interested by a big club?”
The report claims that Ndombele is in no rush to finalise his future and will head out for a holiday after his time with France:
“I will concentrate on what I have to do on the pitch, then I’ll go on holiday, rest my head and after that I’ll try to see what I can do.”
Spurs targeting other stars too
The quotes from Ndombele would be a major boost to our hopes of landing him.
Hopefully, Daniel Levy can thrash out a deal quickly for the 22-year-old and we get our first signing since Lucas Moura joined.
