The youngster claimed that he had been linked with Tottenham in the past and that he was taking all of this in his stride (h/t Football.london):

“No, you have just got to ignore that and take it all in your stride. As a 17 year-old boy I’d started five games for Coventry and saw on my phone that I was being linked with Tottenham and Liverpool.

“With transfer talk you need to take it as a compliment that people are even talking about you, it won’t distract me.”

Maddison is participating in the U21 Euros and is one of the stars to keep an eye on.

Midfielder in no rush to leave Leicester

Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian tweeted regarding Maddison a few days ago and claimed that the English star is in no rush to leave.

The journalist added that Tottenham are interested in the midfielder, however, Liverpool, Manch0ester United and Manchester City are also keeping track of the 22-year-old.

Steinberg claimed that the Foxes could finish above United and Maddison has to choose the right club for his future.
