Spurs transfer news: Tottenham can seal Tanguy Ndombele signing for £63m
Tottenham can seal the signing of Tanguy Ndombele by spending up to £63m, according to Sky Sports News.
The report adds that Spurs and Lyon are in negotiations over the 22-
Ndombele was one of the star performers for Lyon last season and is a regular in the France national team. The Frenchman cost Lyon just £7m (h/t Sky Sports) last season and they stand to make a huge profit should they sell him this summer.
Ndombele also spoke about Tottenham being a big club recently and was happy being linked with us (h/t Sky Sports):
“It’s true that Tottenham are a great team – a big club. They finished fourth in their league, they were finalists in the Champions League.
“They are a big club like many others. Which player would not be interested in a big club?”
The report adds that Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Juventus are interested in the 22-year-old.
One of Pochettino’s important signings
Mauricio Pochettino believes that Ndombele is the kind of player that Tottenham require, and handed a list of other targets to Daniel Levy (h/t Guardian).
The 22-year-old would be a great partner to Harry Winks in the Spurs midfield and would provide a lot of protection to our back-four too.
