Spurs transfer news: Norwich to resist moves for Max Aarons
The Daily Mail reports that Norwich will resist any moves for young defender Max Aarons in the summer.
The 19-year-old right-back was one of their stars as the Canaries gained promotion to the Premier League.
The report adds that the English youngster was handed a new five-year deal in October as the Canaries rewarded their players for making it to the Premier League.
The right-back played 43 games for the Canaries last season scoring three goals and six assists.
The Daily Mail adds that Tottenham have been linked with the 19-year-old, and there is interest from several other clubs too.
Manchester United see Aarons as an option should they fail to land Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while the report adds that Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal have also kept tabs on the 19-year-old.
Spurs could be in the market for a right-back
Kieran Trippier’s future at Tottenham is unclear given the interest from Serie A clubs Napoli and Juventus (h/t Metro). Should the Englishman leave, Spurs would be left with Kyle Walker-Peters and Serge Aurier as the senior right-backs next season.
Tottenham could do with signing a quality right-back as Aurier hasn’t been consistent since his move from PSG.

The Ivorian spent most of last season out due to injuries while Walker-Peters wasn’t given too many starts as Mauricio Pochettino kept faith in Trippier.
