Spurs transfer news: Tottenham face struggle to keep hold of Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Tottenham do have the option of extending the 19-year-old’s contract by another year (h/t Mirror), and the youngster made his senior appearance for Spurs a couple of years ago.

The 19-year-old replaced Dele Alli in a League Cup match against Barnsley but has not played for the senior team since. Oakley-Boothe has done extremely well with the England youth teams and helped the U17 side win the World Cup in 2017.

The report adds that the midfielder was included in the Tuttosport ‘Golden Boy’ award shortlist, which includes the best U21 players playing in Europe.

Tottenham have seen the rise of Harry Winks in recent years and last season, we provided Oliver Skipp some important first-team minutes.

It will be interesting to see if we keep Oakley-Boothe or send him out on loan next season. Spurs are already working on a few deals and theGuardian claims that one Frenchman is in talks over joining.
