Spurs have been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old  and submitted an initial bid worth £10million. Now, the championship side wants another £10million in excess for their breakout star.

Clarke got promoted to the Whites main team this season and had a huge impact straight away. Though he failed to be a starter under Marcelo Bielsa, the English prospect showed a glimpse of his talent with the limited appearances.

While at Spurs, Mauricio Pochettino wants to breaks the long-running transfer drought as he looks in high spirits after ending up the runner-up in Champions League.

Tottenham are now best priced at 1/5 to get the maximum potential out of Jack Clarke thanks to Mauricio Pochettino and going into the busy summer transfer window, it looks like Daniel Levy might get this deal done much earlier. Spurs fans are satisfied at the moment as are in favour of Tottenham getting their man before the start of the season, however nothing is sure yet.

Absence of wide players

The North Londoners were depleted with quality wingers for a while as they completely relied on Heung Min Son for a while.   Besides Clarke,  Spurs are also Barcelona’s Malcom.

The Brazilian prospect found himself as a benchwarmer throughout this season despite putting up some impressive performances in limited chances.

Surprisingly, the Former Bordeaux Man is after just one season at Nou Camp.

Spurs might have endured one of the best seasons in their history yet they have to make their mark in the Premier League.
