Spurs transfer news: Belgian side Anderlecht interested in Vincent Janssen
Vincent Janssen’s horrible time in the Premier League could come to an end. The Dutch striker joined Tottenham from AZ in 2016 but struggled to make a mark in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old was one of the brightest talents in the Eredivisie before he moved to Tottenham, but things have not gone well for Janssen.
The Dutch striker only made 42 appearances for us across three seasons and scored just six times. Janssen also spent the 2017-18 season at Fenerbahce and could be off to Belgium.
Het Laatste Nieuws (h/t Football.london) claims that Anderlecht are interested in signing the 25-year-old.
Selling Janssen seems to be the right move for Spurs
The Dutch striker does not seem to be in our plans and getting rid of him as quickly as possible would be good for all parties involved.
Janssen just could not fire at Tottenham, and it is a little upsetting that he wasn’t able to complete the transition from the Dutch league.
Selling Janssen should have been a part of our transfer plan for a while, and we need to make some moves in the summer window.
Tottenham need to sign a cover for Harry Kane as the English striker missed chunks of the season last time around.

Fernando Llorente is also out of a contract after playing a role in our Champions League journey and hopefully, we get the right players in the transfer window.
