Spurs transfer news: Tottenham willing to let Serge Aurier leave for half of what they paid
The Sun has reported that Tottenham
The Ivorian joined Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain a couple of years ago, but we haven’t seen the best of the 26-year-old.
Aurier only played 17 games for us last time around as he spent a major chunk of the season injured.
The report adds that Spurs are willing to take a hit on Aurier’s sale too. Tottenham signed the PSG man for £23m but will allow him to leave for half the amount in the summer.
Aurier could not make the right-back spot his own since his move from Paris and he was inconsistent when played by Mauricio Pochettino last season.
Spurs set to sell another defender
Kieran Trippier also struggled to make a positive impact this season and the report claims that Everton
Losing Trippier and Aurier would leave Spurs with just Kyle Walker-Peters as the senior right-back for next season.
The report claims that Spurs are interested in Max Aarons and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and it will be interesting to see if we can land one of them.
