Spurs transfer news: Maxi Gomez wants to know if Tottenham are interested in signing him
Spanish outlet El Desmarque (h/t Daily Star) claims that Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez wants to know Tottenham’s stance regarding a move for the 22-year-old.
The Uruguayan striker scored 13 times and provided five assists in La Liga last season, and the report claims that Spurs have been linked with a move for Gomez.
The report adds that London rivals West Ham have made Gomez their top target, but the Uruguayan isn’t sure of joining the Hammers.
The 22-year-old wants to play top level football and isn’t looking at the most lucrative deal for his next move, according to the report.

West Ham have already seen a £29m bid for Gomez rejected by Celta, but the report suggests that the La Liga giants are looking to cash in on their star striker.
