Spurs transfer news: William Saliba prefers a move to Arsenal over Tottenham
Tottenham are competing with Arsenal for the signature of Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims that St Etienne want £25m for the 18-year-old and a loan return for the centre-back
Arsenal
Saliba can play as a right-back too and made 19 appearances for St Etienne last season. The youngster is highly rated in the French league, but it seems he prefers a move to Arsenal over Spurs.
The Times (h/t Daily Star) claims that Saliba doesn’t want to join Spurs if Arsenal are interested in signing the Frenchman.

Spurs looking to complete other deals
Tottenham haven’t signed players in two transfer windows but that should change soon.
Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke have been linked with Spurs throughout the window, and hopefully, the pair will sign for us soon (h/t Sky Sports).
