Spurs transfer news: Barcelona to sell Malcom for Neymar re-signing
Spanish outlet AS (h/t Football.london) reports that Barcelona are trying to sell Malcom in a bid to create space for Neymar.
Malcom joined Barcelona from Bordeaux in the summer but has failed to perform at the Catalan club.
The report claims that Tottenham were linked with a move for the winger in January, and Barcelona want to make up as much of the £36m they spent on the Brazilian.
Neymar left the Catalans for PSG, and the report claims that the Spanish giants already have three non-EU players in the team.
Arthur, Malcom and Arturo Vidal are currently the South American trio, and the report claims that one of them has to leave if Neymar is re-signed.
Malcom only made nine starts in all competitions for the Catalans and recorded just four goals in all competitions.
The 22-year-old has not been able to match his Bordeaux performance, and it will be interesting to see if we line up a move in the summer.
Tottenham could do with more attackers
Spurs could do with another quality winger coming in, and Malcom has the talent to be one of the best in the Premier League.
