Latest Spurs news: Harry Winks and Ben Davies extend Tottenham stay until 2024

Tottenham have been extremely busy this summer when compared to the previous window.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have already captured two signings, Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, and have now extended the stay of two players.

Spurs confirmed that Harry Winks and Ben Davies have penned deals that would keep them at the club until 2024.

Winks had a difficult campaign in the previous season as his progress was hindered by several injuries.

The 23-year-old made a quick recovery from an injury and featured in the Champions League final against Liverpool, but could not get us over the line.

Davies, for his part, had a decent campaign but could not replace Danny Rose from the starting XI. The left-back also underwent surgery recently but is back with the Tottenham team for the pre-season.

The Welshman could have a huge role to play for us in the upcoming campaign and it will be interesting to see how much activity takes place with regards to transfers.

Winks should feature alongside Ndombele in the first-team, and that midfield pairing could become one of the best in the league.

Fans pleased with Winks extending his contract

The English midfielder has always given 100% when representing Spurs, and many Tottenham fans were pleased with the news of his contract extension.
