Spurs transfer news: Swansea leading chase to sign Tashan Oakley-Boothe
The Daily Mail reports that Swansea
Oakley-Boothe played a huge role in England’s U17 World Cup win a couple of years ago and was managed by current Swansea boss Steve Cooper then.
The 19-year-old has found first-team games hard to come by at Tottenham and has made just one senior appearance for Spurs.
This came in 2017 against Barnsley and the report adds that Oakley-Boothe has just one year left on his current deal.
Swansea
Several youngsters from the U17 World Cup side have gone on to play regularly, such as Jadon Sancho, while Oakley-Boothe is still trying to get games for Spurs.
Oliver Skipp got some minutes under Mauricio Pochettino last season, and we have seen the addition of Tanguy Ndombele in the summer too.
Time to send Oakley-Boothe on loan?
The youngster could gain some experience if he is sent out on loan, and it is unlikely he will start too many games for us next season.
