Spurs transfer news: Dani Ceballos not selected for Real Madrid’s upcoming tour
Dani Ceballos has been left out of Real Madrid’s pre-season tour for the International Champions Cup (h/t Mirror).
The 22-year-old struggled to get regular starts under Zinedine Zidane last season, and the Mirror reports that Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in the Spaniard.
Real will face Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich in the USA as part of the ICC, and Ceballos has been tipped to leave the Spanish giants (h/t Mirror).
The 22-year-old helped the U21 Spanish side to win the Euros during the summer, and the Mirror claims that this participation in the tournament could be a factor for his non-selection.
The report adds that Ceballos is searching for more first-team football, which is not possible at Real Madrid next season.
Los Galacticos have been busy in making some big signings such as Eden Hazard, Eder Militao and Luka Jovic.
The report also claims that Christian Eriksen is a target for Madrid, and Mauricio Pochettino is interested in Ceballos making the switch to Tottenham.
Ceballos would be a good signing for Spurs
We need another midfielder in the ranks after signing Tanguy Ndombele, and Ceballos could be a quality signing.
He has the potential to be special but we should not just sign him on a loan deal.

Spurs need to have an option to make the deal permanent, and we have the lure of the Champions League too when compared to Arsenal.
