Spurs transfer news: Tottenham agree personal terms with Giovani Lo Celso

Estadio Deportivo (h/t Daily Star) claims that Tottenham have agreed on personal terms with Giovani Lo Celso.

The report claims that the Argentine sensation will earn £150,000-a-week at Spurs, and Tottenham now have to finalise a transfer fee with Real Betis.

The La Liga side want close to £62m for the 23-year-old (h/t Daily Star), who was part of the national side that played in the Copa America.

The report claims that the first offer from Spurs was £35m, but this was short of the release clause for Lo Celso.

Both clubs want a deal to be completed, however, there is a stand-off between them, according to the report.

Tottenham have already spent bid once in the transfer window when they signed Tanguy Ndombele.

The 22-year-old had an excellent campaign for Lyon last time around and should be a fantastic signing for Spurs.

Jack Clarke is the second player that we have signed in the transfer window, but the Englishman was sent back on loan to Leeds United.

Spurs still need to spend in the window

Tottenham could still do with a few more players joining the team after not spending for close to 18 months.
