Spurs transfer news: Tottenham keeping tabs on CSKA’s Fedor Chalov
The Mirror claims that Tottenham are interested in CSKA Moscow forward Fedor Chalov.
The 21-year-old was the top scorer in the Russian league last season. The forward scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists (h/t Mirror).
The report claims that Liverpool are also interested in the 21-year-old along with the two Manchester clubs and Arsenal.
The youngster is one of the brightest players in Russia, and the report adds that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also keen on the forward.
Monaco and Sevilla are interested in the striker who has been at CSKA since he was eight (h/t Mirror).
The Russian youngster is valued at £20million and signed a new deal with CSKA, keeping him at the club until 2022 (h/t Mirror).
Tottenham could use some cover for Harry Kane
Spurs have made two signings this summer, with Jack Clarke returning to Leeds on loan. Tanguy Ndombele has arrived at the club and is taking part in pre-season training after his big-money move from Lyon.
However, Spurs could do with some cover for Harry Kane next season. The English striker had to deal with two major ankle injuries, and we need someone who can do the job when the forward is out.
