Spurs transfer news: Tottenham could target two Serie A right-backs in the summer
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Tottenham
The English right-back sealed a move to the La Liga giants on Wednesday, and it was a bit of a surprise to see him leave in the summer.
Di Marzio cites Italian reports suggesting that two Serie A right-backs are being linked with Tottenham.
Elseid Hysaj of Napoli and Alessandro Florenzi of AS Roma are the two names that Spurs could target.
Serge Aurier is the other senior right-back we have in the team currently, and should he be sold, one of the two Serie A defenders could end up at Tottenham (h/t Gianluca Di Marzio).
Tottenham have a big decision to make regarding the right-back position
Hysaj at 25 is the younger of the two defenders, and the Albanian is comfortable playing on either side of the defence.
The Napoli star is also a regular for the Albanian national team and started 24 Serie A games last season.
Florenzi can play in the attack and in defence but is older than Hysaj by three years.
The 28-year-old also started 24 Serie A games last season for Roma and scored three goals.

Spurs would have just Kyle Walker-Peters as cover for Aurier next season, but Juan Foyth could also play some games as a right-back if we don’t move for another defender.
