Latest Spurs news: Tottenham beat Juventus in an incredible pre-season game
Tottenham started their International Champions Cup campaign in great fashion, thanks to a late winner from Harry Kane.
This was Tottenham’s first game of pre-season and a part of their Asia tour too. Most of our first-teamers were present in Singapore and the fans got to see some minutes of Tanguy Ndombele too.
The Frenchman joined us from Lyon and had a role to play in one of the goals.
Erik Lamela got the opening goal in the 30th minute before Gonzalo Higuain fired back for the Serie A champions.
Cristiano Ronaldo can never be away from the goals and the Portuguese star gave Juve the lead.
Lucas Moura then scored for Spurs before Harry Kane had the final say.
Kane scores a cracker in the dying seconds
The game seemed to be ending 2-2 before Harry Kane smacked home the winner from the half-way line.
The Englishman might not have been 100% during the end of last season, but this goal should do him a lot of good ahead of the new campaign.
Kane has to be fit for most of our upcoming season as we look to win silverware under Mauricio Pochettino
The win over Juve was a good workout for the side, and results are never the most important aspect of pre-season games.
Several youngsters also got a chance to impress while players were tested out in match conditions.
