Spurs transfer news: Vincent Janssen close to sealing Monterrey exit
Football.london (h/t Sun) reports that Dutch striker Vincent Janssen is set to leave Tottenham for Monterrey.
The 25-
The Dutch striker was sent on loan to Fenerbahce but had to deal with injuries while he barely played for the senior side last season.
The report claims that Janssen is set for a medical on Monday, and the deal should be completed in the coming days.

The 25-year-old’s commitment cannot be questioned but he just could not perform under Mauricio Pochettino.
Selling the Dutch striker would take wages off the bill and hopefully, we can recoup a decent sum from the deal.
Janssen had his trouble with injuries and spent a good chunk of last season recovering from a foot problem. He did return to play for the U23s but did not make a big impact

Spurs would still need a striker as cover for Harry Kane, with Fernando Llorente having left the club in the summer, and it will be interesting to see who else we can sign in the summer.
