Spurs transfer news: Pochettino unsure about Llorente returning to Spurs
Mauricio Pochettino spoke on a range of topics ahead of the clash against Manchester United.
Tottenham take on Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side in Shanghai as a part of their pre-season friendlies, and are coming off a 3-2 win over Juventus.
Spurs have only signed Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke in the summer.
Clarke has returned to Leeds for a loan spell, while Ndombele did a decent job in his outing against Juventus.
Tottenham sold Vincent Janssen to Monterrey this week, and have seen Fernando Llorente leave on a free.
However, the Sun claimed that Tottenham were offering the Spaniard a deal on reduced terms. Pochettino was asked by a reporter if there was any chance of Llorente returning to the club.
The Argentine claimed he knew nothing about it and that he was not the right person to answer the question (h/t Football.london):
“I don’t know. I am not the person you need to ask.”

The Spanish star did a decent job for us last season and scored some important goals too.
