Spurs transfer news: Man United want to stay informed regarding Christian Eriksen
The Daily Mail (h/t Metro) claims that Manchester United have asked Tottenham to keep them informed regarding Christian Eriksen.
The Dane is out of a contract at the end of next season and spoke about his intentions to try something new after the Champions League final defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
The report claims that United want to stay informed about the Dane as they eye a £70million deal.
The Dane is one of the best in the Premier League and Tottenham are hopeful that the 27-year-old would sign a new deal to remain at the club (h/t Metro).
Tottenham need to sort Eriksen’s future out quickly
Spurs cannot afford to lose the Dane on a free transfer at the end of next season, and this summer is important regarding his future.
The 27-year-old should be sold if he doesn’t want to remain with the club but selling him to a Premier League rival would be a huge mistake.
We have done similar deals with Manchester United in the past but are now in a stronger position, thanks to the development under Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs have already spent big in the summer to land Tanguy Ndombele, which should add more steel to our midfield.

We should have a replacement for Eriksen ready should we sell him in the remaining days of the transfer window.
