Spurs transfer news: Felix doesn’t rule out future move to Tottenham
Joao Felix made the headlines after his £113million transfer from Benfica to Atletico Madrid (h/t Express).
This move made him the most expensive teenager in football, and the Express claims that the 19-year-old was also a Manchester United target in the summer.
However, the Portugal star hasn’t ruled out a move to the Premier League. During a Q&A session with Bleacher Report, Felix was asked which other European league he would want to play in.
The 19-year-old responded by naming the Premier League and was then specifically asked if he would consider a move to Tottenham.
The Portugal youngster claimed that move could not take place now but he wasn’t ruling anything out (h/t Express):
“Me, to Spurs? [Right] now that’s impossible, but I don’t know, [maybe] one day.”
Felix one of the brightest players in the world
The youngster has a bright future ahead of him and it will be interesting to see how he develops under Diego Simeone.
Spurs also have a world-class manager in Mauricio Pochettino, and the Argentine has done well with several young talents throughout his career.
Felix would be a great signing under Pochettino but he is playing for Atletico and that will be a test of his abilities.

The Spanish league isn’t as physical as the Premier League. Should Felix continue his development, a bigger move could be on the cards.
