Spurs transfer news: Tottenham see £44m bid rejected for Dybala
Italian outlet La Stampa (h/t Express) reports that Tottenham submitted a £44m bid for Paulo Dybala.
However, the outlet adds that the Italian giants have rejected the offer from Spurs.
Dybala is one of the brightest talents in the Serie A and has been linked with Spurs recently.
The report adds that the offer from Spurs is well below what Juventus’ valuation of the 25-year-old.
The Italians are under new management, with former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri taking over from Max Allegri.
Dybala is currently away on a holiday after his Copa America exploits and the report adds that the Argentine will speak with Sarri regarding his position at the club.
The 25-year-old didn’t have a great season with the Old Lady last time around and saw Cristiano Ronaldo ending up as the top scorer for the club.
Spurs interested in adding strikers
Tottenham sold Vincent Janssen to Monterrey recently and allowed Fernando Llorente to leave after his contract expired.
The Express adds that Spurs are interested in signing another striker before the end of the transfer window. Dybala would be an incredible signing under Mauricio Pochettino and our Argentine could take his fellow countryman to the next level.
The Juventus star would not come on the cheap but Spurs have spent big in getting Tanguy Ndombele to the club.
