Spurs transfer news: Tottenham dealt Man United blow in Dybala hunt
Tottenham could face competition from Manchester United for Paulo Dybala.
Sky Sports (h/t Football.london) reports that Spurs are interested in the Juventus attacker, however, United are keen on Dybala and could send Romelu Lukaku to Turin.
The Belgian striker has been linked with Inter Milan recently (h/t Football.london) and the Red Devils even rejected a £54m bid from the Serie A giants.
The report adds that Juventus have now entered the race for Lukaku, and are willing to offer Dybala to the Red Devils in exchange.
The Argentine struggled under Max Allegri last season and saw Cristiano Ronaldo take over the goalscoring mantle.
Dybala found the back of the net just five times in 30 Serie A games, and Old Lady also have Gonzalo Higuain back after his loan spell at Chelsea.
Tough decision ahead for Dybala
Joining United or Spurs would certainly see him feature in the first-team and it will be interesting to see where he goes in the summer.
Remaining at Juventus is a possibility, and Dybala could flourish under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
However, the Italian has a rigid 4-3-3 system that he plays with, something he wasn’t willing to change during his one season at Chelsea.
United might be able to offer Dybala more money but Spurs have the lure of the Champions League.
