Spurs transfer news: Dybala wants £8m to quit Juventus in the summer

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Express) claims that Paulo Dybala wants £8m-per-season to quit Juventus in the summer.

The Argentine forward did not perform well last season and racked up just 5 Serie A goals for Juventus.

The Old Lady signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, and the Portugal international ended the campaign as their top scorer.

Juventus are also under new management, with Maurizio Sarri replacing Max Allegri, and the report claims that there is speculation regarding Dybala’s future.

Tottenham interested in the Argentine

Dybala is one of the best in the world and would boost the attack of any top team. The report claims that Tottenham are interested in the 25-year-old and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the Argentine international.

Spurs could do with another world-class attacker joining the team and Dybala would provide quality competition for the starting spots in the team.

The Argentine can play as an attacking midfielder while he can also star as a centre-forward. The report claims that Dybala will only move if he gets his wage demands, and it will be interesting to see which club can match that.

The 25-year-old has the potential to improve further and is yet to reach the prime of his career.

Dybala could be the next big transfer of the summer and Spurs have already made one such move by signing Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon.
