Spurs transfer news: Nedved confirms interest for Dybala
Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved has confirmed that they have received enquiries for Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine attacker fell down the pecking order last season after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival and only scored five goals from 30 Serie A appearances.
The 25-
Nedved, a Juventus legend, spoke about Dybala’s situation and confirmed the interest in the Argentine (h/t Football.london):
“There are some proposals, there is some interest, but we wait for concrete action so we can then decide calmly.
“Having won eight consecutive Serie A titles, we feel that we have a strong team already.”
The Czech legend further claimed that Juve are trying to get some deals done, but he did not name any players.
Dybala would cost Spurs a lot
The report adds that Dybala is rated at £80m, and any deal for the Argentine would break the club record for
Spurs already paid a record £63m (h/t Football.london) for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele, and bagging another world-class star would make us one of the biggest spenders in the Premier League.
Dybala has the talent to thrive at Tottenham, and we could do with another brilliant attacker to help Harry Kane.
The Englishman has had ankle problems in recent seasons and could do with someone who can take the goalscoring load off his shoulders.

Dybala can also play in several positions, which would provide competition to some of our established stars.
