Spurs transfer news: Sessegnon’s future not certain as Fulham expect star to remain
The Mirror reports that Ryan Sessegnon could start the new season with current club Fulham.
The 19-year-old’s future is in doubt with Tottenham interested in a £25million move for the English star (h/t Mirror).
However, that depends on Danny Rose’s future too. The left-back did not travel with the Tottenham squad for the Asia tour as he looked to seal an exit from the club.
Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid were interested in the Englishman (h/t Mirror), however, Rose was back in action for the club in their Audi Cup win.
The report adds that Spurs are looking to take the deal till the last day with the club interested in selling Rose.
This all could scupper Sessegnon’s transfer to Tottenham and Scott Parker claimed that the Fulham star will remain at the Championship club (h/t Mirror):
“At this present moment, I expect Ryan still to be here when the window shuts.”
Spurs need to wrap up their transfer dealings soon
The transfer window closes in less than a week and Spurs cannot waste further time in signing players.
Not being able to sell Rose is a bit of a blow to the plans, but we should move for Sessegnon nevertheless.
The Fulham teenager is one of the brightest players in England and could be sensational under Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine has worked well with young English players in the past, and Sessegnon has the potential to improve under the right manager.
