Spurs transfer news: Tottenham agree on a £64.4m deal for Dybala
Sky Italy (h/t Sky Sports) claims that Tottenham
The Argentine has been one of the best players in the Serie A over the years but struggled for goals last season.
Cristiano Ronaldo took up the scoring onus in the previous campaign, and the 25-year-old Dybala only bagged five goals in 30 Serie A appearances.
Dybala can play in several attacking positions and would be a wonderful addition to a strong Tottenham team. Spurs have a fantastic first-XI and the addition of Dybala should give Mauricio Pochettino a lot of scope to mix up the attack.
However, signing the Argentine will not be an easy job.
Conditions apply to Dybala deal
The report adds that Spurs enquired about Dybala last month and any move for the Argentine depends on the futures of Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose.
The English defender has been allowed to find a new club but to no avail while Eriksen is out of a contract at the end of next season.
The Dane has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but the Red Devils were also keen on landing Dybala in exchange for Romelu Lukaku (h/t Sky Sports).
The report claims that the Argentine’s image rights need to be dealt with if he is to join Spurs.
