Spurs transfer news: Tottenham sign Sessegnon for £25m
Tottenham completed the signing of Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon for £25m (h/t BBC).
Spurs had been linked with the English starlet throughout the summer, and the report claims that he has signed a five-year deal with an option to extend the contract.
The fee for Sessegnon could rise up to £30m (h/t BBC) should certain performance
Sessegnon had just one year left on his current deal with the Cottagers, and they could have lost him to a free if they didn’t sell him in the summer.
An impressive signing for Spurs
The English youngster is one of the brightest talents in the country, and this could turn out to be a brilliant signing if he continues growing under Mauricio Pochettino.
Sessegnon can play in several positions and it will be interesting to see how Poch fits the 19-year-old in the team.
The 19-year-old could play as a left-back while he has also starred as an attacker for Fulham in several games.
Spurs have been busy this summer having landed other players in the transfer window, and hopefully, we end the campaign with some silverware.
