Spurs transfer news: Pochettino cannot confirm Eriksen’s future is at Tottenham
Mauricio Pochettino couldn’t confirm Christian Eriksen’s future is at Tottenham, with the Dane being linked with a move all summer.

The report claims that Atletico Madrid are also keen on the 27-year-old and Eriksen is out of a contract at the end of the season. Pochettino has claimed Eriksen’s future wasn’t for him to decide (h/t Express):
“You know more than me, things can still happen. It is not in my hands if something happen or not happen.
“Still we need to wait until September 2 and hope there are not too many changes or not too many problems for us. We need to assess the circumstances.”
The Argentine added that the team still isn’t settled and things will be finalised after 2nd September.
The manager added that a player could change their mind before the end of the transfer window, and it is to be seen what happens in the remaining days.
Eriksen – the difference maker for Spurs
The Dane started on the bench in our 3-1 win over Aston Villa on
Tottenham dominated possession but Eriksen’s introduction changed our fortunes. Our attack looked much sharper with the Dane on the field and it would be great for Spurs to keep the 27-year-old.

Eriksen could join a foreign club before 2nd September, however, he can also leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
