Spurs transfer news: Besiktas agree on loan deal for Nkoudou

Turkish reports (h/t Football.london) claim that Besiktas have agreed on a loan deal to sign Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

The French winger has struggled to become a regular at Tottenham after his move from Marseille. The 24-year-old has had stints at Monaco and Burnley but hasn’t been successful at either club.

The Frenchman got a couple of minutes in our 3-1 win over Aston Villa on the opening weekend and only played one game for us last season.

The winger created the goal for us in the win over Fulham last season, but he hasn’t had many moments to celebrate since joining the club.

The report claims that Spurs are open to Nkoudou’s departure, and the Turkish club will now negotiate a deal to sign the 24-year-old.

Spurs need to sell Nkoudou

The Frenchman has been one of the disappointments under Mauricio Pochettino despite having a couple of quality seasons with Marseille.

Vincent Janssen is another example of a big singing failing under the Argentine but we were able to sell him in the summer to Monterrey.

Spurs should try to send Nkoudou away for good as we have a great first-team and there is little chance of the Frenchman featuring for the side.

Keeping Nkoudou on the books doesn’t make sense and hopefully, Spurs include a clause in his loan deal that makes the move permanent soon.
