Spurs transfer news: Eriksen could leave Tottenham for £50million this summer
The Daily Mail reports that Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy have agreed to a compromise and will allow Christian Eriksen to leave if a substantial bid is submitted.
The Dane is a free agent at the end of the season and the report claims that the Tottenham pair spoke with Eriksen and explained the situation.
The European transfer window ends on 2 September and Spurs can sell to foreign clubs but cannot add to their squad.
Pochettino admitted that it is a difficult situation regarding Eriksen and the club will consider the sale of the Dane should a £50million bid come in the final days of the window (h/t Daily Mail).
Not letting Eriksen leave on a free
Tottenham would lose out on a substantial sum if Eriksen leaves on a free at the end of this season.
The Dane has featured in both of our games this season and was the catalyst in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
