Spurs transfer news: Dybala’s agent speaks out about failed Premier League move
Paulo Dybala’s agent has spoken out about the Argentine’s failed move to the Premier League.
The Mirror reports that the 25-year-old was linked with Tottenham and Manchester United in the summer, but both teams pulled out of the transfer as they could not agree to his wages and commission.
However, Jorge Antun, Dybala’s agent claims that there
Antun was speaking to Tuttosport (h/t Mirror) and added that he had spoken to English clubs but the stories of the commission were untrue:
“I did speak to the English club, but the stories about the commission were not true. There were simply issues between the two clubs.”
Dybala would have been an excellent addition to the Tottenham side, however, Spurs cannot sign any players until the winter window.
Spurs have a quality attacking midfielder in their ranks
Spurs made some smart moves in the summer by landing Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
Ndombele has done well since making his debut against Aston Villa while Lo Celso is yet to show his potential at the club.
The former PSG and Real Betis midfielder was in great form last season and hopefully, he can score goals for Spurs too.

Lo Celso is on loan until the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see if we can make his deal permanent at the end of the campaign.
