Spurs transfer news: Juventus looking to make last-minute move for Eriksen

The Express (h/t Sun) claims that Juventus are planning a last-minute move for Christian Eriksen.

The Dane is out of a contract at the end of the season and the report claims that Juventus are looking to replace Paulo Dybala with Eriksen.

The move for Eriksen depends on Paris Saint-Germain making a move for Dybala in the summer window (h/t Sun).

The Argentine struggled in the previous season under Max Allegri and has found it tough to break into Maurizio Sarri’s newlook Juventus in this campaign.

PSG were also interested in Eriksen but that depends on Barcelona signing Neymar from the French giants (h/t Sun).

Not a lot of time to complete the move

Tottenham do not have a lot of time on their hands to sanction the sale of Eriksen in this transfer window.

PSG and Juventus can sign players till 2 September, however, Tottenham cannot replace any stars that are lost till then.

Eriksen is one of the best in the world and losing him would be a blow. Spurs have signed a replacement for the Dane in Giovani Lo Celso, but we haven’t seen the best of the former Real Betis star.

Tottenham’s problem also lies with the fact that Eriksen is a free agent at the end of the campaign, and losing him for nothing would be a massive error from the management too.
