Tottenham face Serie A competition for Kosovo forward Vedat Muriqi

Calciomercato claims that Vedat Muriqi has attracted the attention of two Serie A clubs after starring for Fenerbahce.

The 25-year-old centre-forward is known for his physicality and ability to win aerial duels, something that England saw last night.

Muriqi started for Kosovo in their 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Three Lions and even bagged a goal for the away team.

The 25-year-old has caught the attention of Tottenham, according to the report, but Lazio and Fiorentina are tracking the forward.

Muriqi has done well for Fenerbahce, scoring a couple of goals for the Turkish giants after he joined them in the summer.

The Kosovo international was in great form for Rizespor before making the switch to Fenerbahce and scored 17 times from 34 league games last season.

Muriqi showcases his talent this season

The 25-year-old isn’t the quickest player off the blocks but he can do well when it comes to aerial duels.

The Kosovo international would provide us with an alternative to Harry Kane and we need some quality cover for the Englishman too.

It will be interesting to see how Muriqi does at Fenerbahce and if he can keep scoring for them this season.

Tottenham need to sign some cover for Kane after letting Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen leave in the summer.
