Christian Eriksen waiting for call from Real Madrid over transfer
Marca claims that Christian Eriksen is still waiting for a call from Real Madrid after a summer move failed.
The Dane is out of a contract at the end of the season and has rejected every offer put on the table by Daniel Levy (h/t Marca).
Real have made contact with Tottenham in the past but no official bid for Eriksen was submitted, according to the report.
The Dane has been one of our most impressive players this season and has featured in all five Premier League games so far.
Eriksen’s reps making calls
Tottenham had offered Eriksen to Madrid in the summer but Zinedine Zidane wanted to sign Paul Pogba and neither deal happened (h/t Marca).
However,
Tottenham, for their part, are certain that Eriksen will end up playing for Real Madrid next season (h/t Marca).
The 27-year-old has been one of our best signings in the Premier League era but him leaving on a free would be a bad move financially for Spurs.

Selling him in January could get us a decent sum but with six months left on his deal, it would make more financial sense to land him on a free at the end of the campaign.
