Three Tottenham defenders missing from video of team leaving for Greece

published :

Danny Rose, Serge Aurier and Ben Davies not filmed travelling to Greece

Tottenham open their Champions League campaign against Olympiakos and have several injury problems. However, a recent video has highlighted that we could be without three first-team defenders.

Football.london reports that a video highlighting which players are flying off to Greece doesn’t feature three stars.

Jan Vertonghen of Tottenham

Serge Aurier, who was one of the stars in the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace, wasn’t a part of the video featuring the players.

Danny Rose and Ben Davies are the other two defenders who were not filmed ahead of the clash, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the team against the Greek side.

Tottenham need to start off well

Not having any of the defenders would be a problem for the club and hopefully, we start the group stage of the Champions League with a win.

Spurs made things tough for themselves last season as we picked up only one point from our opening three games.

However, things should be easier for us this time around as we play have a more favourable group than last season. Jan Vertonghen can play at left-back should Davies and Rose miss out on the game.

We have trouble in central defence too, with Davinson Sanchez missing out on the clash against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
