Jurgen Klinsmann open to managing Tottenham should Mauricio Pochettino leave
The Daily Mail reports that former Tottenham striker Jurgen Klinsmann is open to managing the club.
The German had a couple of stints at the club and became a fan favourite before managing the USA national team and Bayern Munich.
Klinsmann also took Germany to the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup. The former Spurs star hasn’t been in management since leaving the US team in 2016 but has rejected several international and club offers (h/t Daily Mail).
The report claims that Klinsmann is interested in the Tottenham job should Mauricio Pochettino leave. The Argentine led us to the Champions League final last season but has seen his side struggle for consistency this campaign.
Klinsmann is a risky option
Pochettino is one of the best managers in the world and finding a quality replacement will not be easy.
Although Klinsmann did a great job with the German team, his stint in club management didn’t go so well with Bayern.
