Ryan Sessegnon still injured for Tottenham ahead of Southampton clash
Tottenham will try to bounce back from their Carabao Cup humiliation against Colchester United and face Southampton at the weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino played several first-team stars against the League Two side but we were dumped out on penalties.
Tottenham should put out a strong side against the Saints at the weekend, but two players are set to miss out.
Giovani Lo Celso is out with a hip problem and won’t be back until the end of October, but the one injury that is a mystery is Ryan Sessegnon’s hamstring problem.
Frustrating time for player and club
The English youngster joined Spurs from Fulham and is one of the brightest talents in the country, but he is yet to play a minute of senior football for us.
It seems like the 19-year-old cannot recover from his issue, and he has been on the treatment table with this hamstring problem since playing for the England U21 side.
Sessegnon could have solved some of our problems in the team with his speed and attacking ability. He could have also done a job as a left-back, but only time will tell when he would be back to full fitness.
Tottenham are ensuring that he comes back in the best shape possible, but it is extremely frustrating for a summer signing to not have played a single minute of football.

Hopefully, Sessegnon hits the ground running when he features for us and we need him after a string of poor results.
