Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon miss training ahead of Bayern Munich clash
Tottenham host Bayern Munich in a huge Champions League clash on Tuesday.
Spurs need to pick up the win after their 2-2 draw with Olympiakos in the opening game of the group.
However, Tottenham’s performances this season has been below par and Bayern will not be easy opposition.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have had their injury problems this season, and Alasdair Gold reported that two first-teamers didn’t participate in training ahead of the game.
Giovani Lo Celso has been out since the last international break and is out till October. The other player who didn’t take part was Ryan Sessegnon, according to the report.
The English youngster hasn’t played one game for us since joining from Fulham and picked up his problem during U21 duty with the national side.
The pair have been unlucky with their injuries and it is surprising why Sessegnon isn’t back yet.
Lo Celso did pick up a few minutes via substitute appearances, and hopefully, he comes back better than ever.
Spurs ready for the clash
Gold added that the other players took part in a range of activities with Serge Aurier not taking part in any recovery programmes.
The Ivorian was sent off after just 30 minutes against Southampton, but we did well to get the three points against the Saints.
