Juventus interested in Harry Kane should forward leave Tottenham
Tottenham’s poor run of form continued as they were beaten 3-0 by Brighton on Saturday. Mauricio Pochettino would have expected a positive response from Spurs after the loss to Bayern Munich in midweek, however, we barely threatened the Brighton goal.
Harry Kane had an off-game on Saturday, and Juventus are interested in his services, according to The Times (h/t Calciomercato).
The report claims that the forward could hand in a transfer request as Spurs have fallen below standards this season.
The Italian giants are interested in signing a long-term option as Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo are ageing. Mario Mandzukic is also expected to leave in the January window. (h/t Calciomercato)
Heated competition for Kane
The report adds that Juve would face a lot of competition from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea for Kane. The English forward is the best striker in the world but the team has let him down so far this season.
The striker has scored five league goals this season and has a couple in the Champions League too. It could be a big summer for Tottenham with several players on the final years of their contract too.
Losing Kane would be a big kick for us, and Juventus have signed players from the Premier League in recent years.
