Paulo Dybala ready to renew Juventus contract expiring in 2022
Juventus star Paulo Dybala is ready to extend his stay with the Italian giants, according to English reports (h/t Calciomercato).
The Argentine was linked with an exit in the summer and Tottenham
However, the forward remained at Turin and has slowly returned to Maurizio Sarri’s good books. The former Napoli and Chelsea manager didn’t use Dybala all that much at the start of the season, but the Argentine has racked up one goal and three assists for Juve so far.
Dybala’s current deal ends in 2022 (h/t Calciomercato) and him agreeing on a new contract would be a huge blow to our plans.
Dybala would have been great at Tottenham
The Argentine would be an excellent winter signing as we look to turn things around at Tottenham.
Dybala has shown that he can adapt to a new playing style by forcing himself into Sarri’s plans and he could do the same under Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the Argentine seems set to stay at Turin for now and it will be interesting to see if we make a move in January.
