Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen are doubts for Watford clash
The Evening Standard claims that Son Heung-min is a doubt for Tottenham’s game against Watford. The South Korean was in action against North Korea, with the match ending 0-0.
However, Son will return to Tottenham on Thursday and will have just one day to train before Saturday’s clash.
The report adds that Mauricio Pochettino is unlikely to start Son as Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli are available fresh after the break.
Another player who could miss the clash is Christian Eriksen. The Dane suffered a dead leg while playing for the national side (h/t Evening Standard) and that could impact Pochettino’s plans for the starting XI.
Spurs need to win on Saturday
The Hornets are the only side without a win in the Premier League this season, and we cannot drop points against them.
Tottenham suffered a couple of poor results before the international break and can put things straight on Saturday.
Losing Eriksen and Son would be a blow to Pochettino but we should have enough options to field a strong side.
