Tottenham handed double training boost as Lo Celso and Sessegnon return
Tottenham have been handed a much-needed boost with two players returning to training.
Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon haven’t started for Spurs since joining in the summer, however, they are back in training (h/t Evening Standard).
Sessegnon picked up a hamstring injury while playing for the England U21s. He was expected to feature earlier in the season but picked up a problem during training a few weeks ago.
The Englishman could be our left-back, and it will be interesting to see when the pair is ready to start games. The report claims that neither of them will feature against Watford, but Lo Celso has played some minutes for Spurs.
The Argentine international came on as a sub in some games but hurt his hip in the previous international break. The attacking midfielder could provide us with more attacking impetus and hopefully, he does return to action before our next two games.
Spurs face a daunting trip soon
Merseyside is calling after our Champions League game against Red Star and playing Liverpool won’t be easy. The Reds are yet to drop points this season in the Premier League and have already defeated Chelsea and Arsenal.
Mauricio Pochettino could do with the pair in the first-team and hopefully, we turn things around quickly.
