Christian Eriksen returns to training ahead of Red Star Belgrade game
Tottenham have been handed an injury boost ahead of their crunch Champions League clash in midweek.
Spurs host Red Star Belgrade in a must
Tottenham were also held to a 1-1 draw by Watford at the weekend, with Dele Alli scoring a late equaliser.
Football.london reports that Christian Eriksen was a part of training after missing the draw against the Hornets.
The Dane returned from national duty after suffering a dead leg and some of his creativity was missed at the weekend.
It will be interesting to see if Eriksen is handed a start on Tuesday as we need to get a win. Tottenham have been poor this season and even Mauricio Pochettino’s changes aren’t working all that well.
Two other players seen in training
Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon were also back in training, and the pair hasn’t started a game for us this season.
Eriksen has been below par and hopefully, he gets back to his best against Red Star. There are some big clashes coming up for Spurs and we could do with the Dane doing well against the likes of Liverpool and Everton.
