Tottenham struggling to sell Red Star Belgrade Champions League tickets
Tottenham face a crunch clash in the Champions League on Tuesday against Red Star Belgrade but are struggling to sell tickets, according to the Evening Standard.
Spurs have to beat the Serbians after a couple of poor results in the group stage this season. We drew against Olympiakos in the opener and were hammered 7-2 by Bayern Munich in the second game.
UEFA have also banned the away side from selling tickets to their fans after racist chants, with Spurs being handed the full allocation (h/t Evening Standard).
However, many tickets remain unsold despite it being on offer to the club’s 48,000 ticket holders. Tottenham won’t put the tickets on general sale and have put them on ‘guest sale’, which allows ticket-holders to buy three additional seats for the game (h/t Evening Standard).
Spurs had to grind for a point against Watford
Tottenham’s season has been poor in almost every competition, and we needed a late goal from Dele Alli to get a point against Watford.
We trailed for most of the game against the Hornets, and there was VAR controversy regarding Alli’s equaliser.
Tottenham need to play better in the coming weeks if they are to save the season. Red Star have to be beaten on Tuesday, while we travel to Anfield on Sunday.
