Tottenham won’t entertain any bids for Harry Kane despite poor start to season
Liverpool and Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw which saw the Reds keep their unbeaten run going. United did stop them from recording an 18th straight league win, but there were problems for both sets of players.
Liverpool couldn’t get going without Mohamed Salah while United struggled to take advantage of their initial lead.
The Red Devils have been poor for most of the season and the point will be a big bonus for them. Roy Keane was watching the action in the Sky Sports studio and chipped in with his solution to solving United’s attacking problems (h/t Football.london):
“Go and get Kane. Go and get Kane from Spurs, easy.”
The former United captain added that we were in “disarray” and the Red Devils just needed to get Kane.
Spurs not looking to sell
Although we haven’t done that well this season, there is no way Tottenham can allow Harry Kane to leave.
Football.london reports that Kane is our “talisman” and Tottenham “would not entertain any moves for the England captain, no matter what situation the club finds itself in.”
Kane has to remain at Tottenham no matter what happens, as we can build the team around him. The English forward is possibly the best striker in the world and replacing him will be almost impossible.
Tottenham didn’t get three points against Watford at the weekend, but we dominated the game and should have scored more than just one goal.
